Dspe-peg-nhs is one of the most commonly used reactive phospholipids and can be easily incorporated into liposomes and other nanoparticles; Peptides, or other ligands may be bound to the surface of liposomes and other lipid peg nanoparticles. Dspe-peg-nhs is a linear heterobifunctional PEGylation reagent containing DSPE phospholipid and activated carboxylic acid NHS ester. It is a useful self-assembly reagent for preparing PEGylated liposomes or micelles, and also provides NHS groups for conjugation with amine containing molecules. It is commonly used for target drug delivery of lipid bilayer to improve drug solubility, PEG provides stealth performance, prolongs circulating half-life and reduces non-specific protein binding or cell adhesion, and is used to biologically bind acidic groups of targeted molecules (including anti Ti, aptamers, proteins and peptides).
